The song received a remake for Hololive Summer 2022, with a new orchestral instrumental and updated vocals courtesy of the many members that had joined since the original was made. It even got featured as the title screen the during the Azur Lane x Hololive collab, and it's the only song that's reprised for all official live concerts. Hololive's first official song, "Shiny Smily Story" can be summed up as the hololive anime theme, with vibrant lyrics rejecting the words "give up" and striving towards one's brightest dreams, with a hint of Reality Subtext for the first holomembers' perseverance in reaching out to the world. ![]()
